New Discord Recruitment Webhook
We're excited to announce a new feature for our recruitment system, just in time for you to find the last few recruits for your War Within raid team!
Guilds can now set a Discord Webhook in their recruitment settings, which will cause matching characters to be posted to a Discord channel of their choosing. We hope this makes recruitment easier for everyone and lessens the burden of having to manually search for new recruits every day.
How to Set Up the Recruitment Webhook
You'll need to take these steps to get the Webhook working properly.
Update your Guild Profile
To get started, go to Recruitment: Guild Looking For Players and select your guild:
Update your guild recruitment profile if you haven't already. Remember, you can use our schedule and progress filters to find experienced characters that fit your needs and goals.
To receive results, your guild recruitment profile must meet the minimum criteria. You can check this by seeing if you can Search for new recruits at the bottom of the page or not. In this example, the user still needs to set contact and recruitment information for their guild.
Set the Webhook URL
You can generate a Webhook URL by opening Discord and then:
- Open Server Settings
- Click Integrations
- Click Create Webhook
- Set channel (the avatar and name will be overridden)
- Click Copy Webhook URL
Now you should see matches posted to your specified Discord channel!
