SoD Naxxramas Speedrun Rules
The below requirements are needed to get a Complete Raid ranking for Season of Discovery - Naxxramas version, which includes Boss Fight, Boss/Trash, and Speed rankings.
A Complete Raid parse requires the whole raid done in one run. It is recommended to have multiple people combat logging in case of disconnects, releases, and general bugs.
Start and End Point
The Complete Raid (speedrun) starts with the pull of one of the below mobs:
Valid starting points:
- Dread Creeper
- Carrion Spinner
- Venom Stalker
- Infectious Skitterer
- Patchwork Golem
- Deathknight Captain
- Deathknight
- Risen Deathknight
- Necro Knight
- Stoneskin Gargoyle
- Infectious Ghoul
The run ends when Kel'thuzad dies.
You cannot validate your run by killing trash after all bosses are defeated.

Preclearing Rule
Pre-clearing is not allowed. We reserve the right to disqualify, blacklist, or ban any attempts at circumventing the intention of trash requirements. All trash mobs around the required mobs are also considered required.
Hardmode Requirement
To qualify for a top 5 ranking in Complete Raid Speed, all trash in your run MUST be done on HM4 (Mythic). Trying to circumvent this will lead to your run getting blacklisted.
Boss Rules
Ensure you have also read the Naxxramas Parsing Rules for an overview of what is and isn't allowed. If a fight is invalidated due to parsing rules, that also invalidates Complete Raids (e.g. Speedruns).
Especially note: Using Loatheb spore buff on non-Loatheb bosses will invalidate your run.
Penalties
Instructor Razuvious
There is a 5-minute penalty to Complete Raid times if fewer than 12 Deathknight Captains are killed before Instructor Razuvious is killed.
Swap Penalty
There is a 1-minute time penalty per character swap.
Time Penalty
Instead of having 'Without Skips' and 'With Skips' categories, we have implemented a time penalty for missed trash mob requirements.
If a raid partly misses the trash requirements it will face a time penalty, which is 300s / [mob type count] for each missed mob.
Example:
You need to kill 10 bears in a raid, but you only killed 9. That means your complete raid time gets a time penalty of 300s/10 = 30s. If you only killed 8 bears then 60s get added to the complete raid time and so on.
