SoD Phase 4 on Warcraft Logs
The first level 60 raid is about to be released on Season of Discovery Phase 4, so here is an updated article with some information on how things will be handled on Warcraft Logs. The best place to keep updated or ask questions is on our Discord.

Molten Core
The new Phase 4 raid will differ slightly from previous classic raids as it has multiple 'difficulties'. We're used to this from retail, and we'll be handling them similarly.
Heat Levels
We're treating the different Heat levels for Molten Core as difficulties. This means they'll be handled like Normal/Heroic/Mythic, and be ranked separately. You can pick difficulties in the dropdowns, and the front page will default to the highest difficulty.
Progress
Full progress ranking will require all bosses on the highest heat level.
Speed
Full Speedrun rules have not yet been decided. The top 10 vod requirement ended up not being fully needed for Sunken Temple, due to the design of the raid. This will likely be a great requirement for Molten Core though, especially combined with no preclearing and more thorough trash requirements than Vanilla Molten Core had. This will also be revisited once progress is over and we've seen the raid a few times.
Parsing Rules
As there's no PTR for SoD raids, doing parsing rules in advance can be difficult. There are currently no rules in place, but we will revisit this by mid-August and likely recrawl. Please join us on Discord to suggest changes and rules.
Onyxia's Lair
You can parse on Onyxia, but this fight is not on your default character page (you can pick it in the dropdown), and there is no front page tile. You'll be able to find Onyxia in the sidebar or with this link.
Spec Detection
We have expanded greatly on the Season of Discovery specs for Phase 4. This means we've gone from Role-based specs (e.g. Melee/Ranged/Healer/Tank) to talent tree based (e.g. Affliction, Demonology, Destruction).
This is mainly detected by majority talent points used in that tree. The only talent information available in combat logs by Blizzard is x/x/x where x is the number of points used in the tree.
We're also keeping Melee Hunter as an option for hunters, this currently requires at least 66% of your (Auto Shots + Melees + Raptor Strikes) must be Melees or Raptor Strikes.
Tank specs still require meeting the tanking requirements. If you have most talent points in a tanking tree and fail to meet the requirements, you will default to the spec you have second most talents in as a Warrior, Warlock or Druid. Paladins get Retri
This will likely require a bit of tuning as well, so join us on Discord if you've run into a bug or want to propose changes.
Tanking Requirements
We're keeping the default tanking requirements for Molten Core. Once we see the bosses, this can be adjusted on a boss-by-boss basis to properly detect tanks.
The current default tanking requirement requires both threat stance and tanking unless otherwise noted.
Intention to Tank: You must spend at least 10s in your threat stance, or use specific tank runes.
Actually Tanking: You must take the most basic attacks from bosses (melee attacks, or spam spells like Aquanis' Frostbolt), or at least 50% of the most anyone takes. You must take at least 5 total for it to count.

Archon Addon
We've moved the Archon Addon from the Alchemical Society to a waitlist. This is a closed beta where we're slowly adding more players in to improve and fix the bugs for a wider release. You can opt in to the waitlist through one of our uploader clients. You will need to connect and refresh your battle.net connection first.
