Let's dig into some examples of what mechanics Wipefest can automatically analyze for you in Nerub-ar Palace! Make sure to check every boss for your needs, as below are just some examples of the analysis Wipefest provides for your raid.

All Bosses

Some insights are available regardless of which boss you're looking at, including checks on potions, healthstones, flasks, food, enchants, gems, and deaths. For example, the ready check insight can give you a quick overview of everyone's gear:

The simplest mechanic that Wipefest can help you analyze is avoidable damage. For example, Ulgrax casts

, shooting web that needs to be dodged. Getting hit by this causes a decent chunk of damage. Wipefest can point out when this is happening, and also provide a short video clip and tip of the mechanic in action to help you avoid it next time.

The Bloodbound Horror spawns Forgotten Harbingers that themselves spawn Manifested Horrors. If a Manifested Horror reaches the boss, it explodes and causes raid-wide damage. Wipefest can help you track this mechanic in two ways:

  1. How quickly did we kill Forgotten Harbingers (reducing the number of Manifested Horror spawns)?

  1. How many Manifested Horrors did we let reach the boss without being killed?

In this example, we can see that we scored a 70th percentile for Forgotten Harbinger kill time (killing them faster than 70% of groups) but only a 27th percentile for

damage (worse than 73% of groups). This implies we could focus more on killing the Manifested Horrors than we currently are.

After every 2 sets of ghosts and beams, Sikran casts

which does reduced damage the further you are from him. Wipefest tracks this raid damage to help you notice if you are taking excessive damage or not.

on Rasha'nan is an interesting tank mechanic that encourages tanks to mitigate the upfront damage to reduce the subsequent damage over time. The upfront damage is also split into Physical and Nature portions. Wipefest aggregates these damage events and lets you work out how well you are mitigating this damage.

On Mythic difficulty, eggs on Ovi'nax require two applications of

to hatch. To help you track your positioning, Wipefest can generate a slideshow of maps that show the positions of targeted players when their debuffs expired. If you see 4 pairs of players, then it's likely everyone was in the right position to break eggs.

Sometimes it's hard to separate avoidable damage from unavoidable damage. During

on Ky'veza, players are targeted by
lines that deal damage both to themselves and other players in the line. Targeted players cannot avoid taking damage from this, so Wipefest excludes them when aggregating its damage breakdown.

on Silken Court requires players paired with
to entangle Anub'arash while he charges, preventing him from hitting the wall in a
. Failing to do so causes massive raid damage, and Wipefest can help point out when this occurs.

While progressing Heroic Ansurek, you'll quickly discover the importance of keeping balanced groups when soaking

to reduce the raid stacks of
(which does heavy damage when it expires). Wipefest keeps track of how many stacks you reached each time, helping you pinpoint when groups weren't properly split.
